860SSRep - 014Commissioned by a European collector, this replica of the unique 860SS that won the Production race at Bathurst in 1975 (ridden by Kenny Blake), has taken some 5 years to complete. It was decided that it would be used on the road and the owner wanted it to be in a considerably higher state of tune than a standard SS. As a result it features the ex-VeeTwo 60 degree heads, as developed by Brook Henry; higher compression pistons and a capacity of 905cc. Constructed by Tony Hannagan of BevelTech, based near Melbourne, VIC. Photographed at the Mt Panorama road circuit, Bathurst, NSW. 2013.
